BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: September 15, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to Amend OCT Contract TD Rates DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Growth Management Department requests that the Board approve the attached Amendment to Okaloosa County Transit’s contract: C03-0927-GM. This Amendment updates Section 7 part A of Attachment 1 with the new rates that were established by the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged Contract G0270. BACKGROUND: The County was awarded a Transportation Disadvantaged Trip & Equipment grant effective July 1st, 2015 at which time new ambulatory, wheelchair and stretcher rates went into effect. The new rates will be used in invoices for Transportation Disadvantaged service trips performed by OCT beginning July 1st. OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove the amendment to OCT's contract adopting the new TD reimbursement rates. RECOMMENDATIONS: The Growth Management Department requests that the Board approves the Amendment to Okaloosa County Transit’s contract C03-0927-GM to include the new TD reimbursement rates.
