BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: September 15, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to revise Task Order #41 to OCT for Preventative Maintenance DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff requests that the Board approve the attached revision to Task Order #41 with Okaloosa County Transit (OCT) to reduce the total amount allocated to OCT. BACKGROUND: Task Order #41 allocated FTA operating funds ($600,000) and preventative maintenance funds ($200,000) to OCT. At the April 21st meeting, the BoCC approved an amendment to OCT's contract which allows the County to directly draw down the grant funds for maintenance of County-owned and maintained vehicles operated by OCT. This task order revision reallocates the remaining preventative maintenance funds of $77,095.96 to the County which would allow the County to directly drawn down the remaining balance for expenses incurred. No local funds are required for this request OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove Revision 1 to Task Order #41 reducing the total preventative maintenance funds allocated to OCT by $77,095.96. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the attached Task Order #41 Revision #1 reallocating the remaining preventative maintenance funds of $77,095.96 from OCT.
