SUBJECT: Request to revise Task Order #45 to OCT for Preventative Maintenance
DEPARTMENT: Growth Management

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Growth Management seeks to revise Task
Order #45 to OCT in the amount of $300,000. These funds will allow the County to draw down
directly the FTA funds for maintenance cost incurred by the County Fleet department.
BACKGROUND: Task Order #45 allocated FTA operating funds ($650,000) and preventative
maintenance funds ($300,000) to OCT. At the April 21st meeting, the BoCC approved an
amendment to OCT's contract which allows the County to directly draw down the grant funds
for maintenance of County-owned and maintained vehicles operated by OCT. This task order
revision reallocates the preventative maintenance funds of $300,000 to the County which would
allow the County to directly drawn down FTA funds for maintenance.
No local funds are required for this request
OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove Revision 1 to Task Order #45 reallocating the total
preventative maintenance funds from OCT to the County in the amount of $300,000.
RECOMMENDATIONS: The Department recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman
to sign the attached Task Order #45 Revision #1 reallocating preventative maintenance funds of
$300,000 from OCT.
