STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to remove a truck from the fixed asset list for
donation to the Holt Fire District.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Per Section 7, 2(I) of the Tangible Personal Property,
Commodity Inventory & Accountability Manual (Property Manual) the County Administrator
may approve the donation of a fixed asset and provide notification to the Board. The County
Administrator has approved for a 2006 Ford F250 ¾ Ton 4X4 Pickup Extended Cab Truck to be
donated to the Holt Fire District. This truck was being prepared for disposition, however, the
Holt Fire District has expressed a desire to further utilize the vehicle. Staff requests Board
authorization to remove the truck from the fixed asset list. The fixed asset number and vehicle
information is listed below:
