TOURIST DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT MEMORANDUM
DATE: May 28, 2015
TO: Tourist Development Council
FROM: Ed Schroeder, Tourist Development Department Director
Jim Trifilio, Coastal Management Coordinator
SUBJECT: Genesis Contract Amendment #2
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of Amendment 2 to Genesis Master Services Agreement,
contract C14-2158-TDD.
BACKGROUND: While performing work under the basic services of the master services agreement, it
was determined that sub-consultant services for electrical engineering is needed, specifically for
developing a scope of work for bidding the work to be completed under the FWC/FDEP turtle lighting
grant. These services are contemplated within the basic scope of services of the master services
agreement, but there is not an appropriate sub-consultant listed in Genesis’ response to the RFP.
Therefore, Genesis requests the contract be amended to include Humber-Garick as the sub-consultant for
Electrical Engineering.
OPTIONS: Approve or Deny the contract amendment.
RECOMMENDATION TO BCC: Approve Amendment 2 to Genesis Master Services Agreement,
contract C14-2158-TDD.

engineering services; and
WHEREAS, the parties wish to amend the Agreement to include Humber-Garick as an
approved sub-contractor for the purposes set forth above.

Master Services Agreement.
Section 1. The Agreement shall be amended to include Humber-Garick as an approved
