STATEMENT OF ISSUE: OCWS staff requests BCC approval of a final payment in the
amount of $28,526.58 to Jimmy Henderson II Construction Company Inc. on contract #C15-
2269-WS.
BACKGROUND: Via the County's formal bidding process, Okaloosa County Water & Sewer
entered into a contract with Jimmy Henderson II Construction Company Inc. in February 2015
for the construction of the metal building at the East County Repump Station. The amended
contract has a substantial completion date of 10/01/2015. Construction was substantially
complete by that date. Additionally, all work concerning this project has been completed. Final
inspections by OCWS staff and consultants have been conducted, and the work is deemed
sufficient. Now that all work has been completed and deemed sufficient, final payment is now
due on the contract. This final invoice, along with other pertinent information, is attached for
your review.
OPTIONS: Approve or deny.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends BCC approval of a final payment in the amount of
$28,526.58 to Jimmy Henderson II Construction Company Inc. on contract #C15-2269-WS.
