BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: January 6, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Hattie Mae Lane Roadway Improvements DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Acceptance of Hattie Mae Lane (County maintained portion) roadway improvements to enter into the 18-month warranty period as required before permanent acceptance into the County maintenance system. BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS: Plans for Hattie’s Grove subdivision were approved for construction on June 30, 2014. The plans include paving and drainage improvement along the existing County maintained portion of Hattie Mae Lane which serves as the entrance to the proposed development. The roadway improvements have been constructed, inspected, and found to be in substantial conformance with the approved plans. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove the Developer's Request. RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the work performed on Hattie Mae Lane (County maintained portion) to enter into the 18-month warranty period and accept Irrevocable Standby Letter of Credit No. 206 Issued by Beach Community Bank in the amount of Three Thousand Four Hundred Eighty Three and 30/100 Dollars ($3,483.30). RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
