BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: April 7, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Renewal of Lease with Michael Woodham for Ricky St. Boat Ramp Parking Facilities DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 2 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Extend the lease with Michael Woodham for the parking area for the Ricky St. Boat Ramp for five additional years. BACKGROUND: On May 22, 2000 the Board entered a lease with Michael Woodham for property (see Attachment A) to be utilized for parking facilities for boat trailers and vehicles used in conjunction with the Ricky Street Boat Ramp. The term of the lease was for five (5) years with automatic renewals of five (5) year extensions. The lease amount is $3,000 per year. Mr. Woodham and the Parks Division are in agreement for the lease to be extended for an additional five years. OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove RECOMMENDATIONS: Request Board approval to extend the lease for five (5) years with Michael Woodham for property to provide parking facilities for the Ricky Street Boat Ramp.
