STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the contract with Jimmy Henderson II
Construction for a Pre-Engineered Metal Building and authorization for the Chairman to sign the
contract (WS 82-14).
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On November 18, 2014 the Board approved the award of a
contract to Jimmy Henderson II Construction to construct a pre-engineered metal building for the
East County Re-Pump Project for a total bid price of $209,477. The contract has been prepared
and is ready for the Chairman to sign. The price of the bid includes the complete fabrication,
erection and installation of a 25’ x 45’ metal building, concrete foundation, lighting, access
doors, heating, ventilating, and air conditioning and traveling bridge crane.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the contract with Jimmy Henderson II Construction for a Pre-
Engineered Metal Building and authorization for the Chairman to sign the contract (WS 82-14).
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the contract with Jimmy Henderson II
