STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Approval of final payment to Lord and Son Construction, Inc. for
services in the construction of the Okaloosa County Administrative Building in Shalimar under
Contract #C12-1995-FM. All work is complete with the project and the scope of services has
been fulfilled.
BACKGROUND: All work to be provided by Lord and Son Construction pursuant to contract
#C12-1995-FM for construction of the Okaloosa County Administrative Building in Shalimar
has been completed. All documents required to be submitted prior to or with the final payment
request, as outlined in the contract, have been received.
Lord and Son Construction has fulfilled their obligation under Contract #C12-1995-FM. A final
invoice has been presented in the amount of $480,077.56. With the project complete final
payment is requested.
OPTIONS: Approve/disapprove the final payment in the amount of $480,077.56, to Lord and
Son Construction, Inc. for construction of the Okaloosa county Administrative Building in
Shalimar.
RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve the final payment in the amount of $480,077.56, to Lord
and Son Construction, Inc. for construction of the Okaloosa County Administrative Building in
Shalimar. Payment to be made according to Contract #C12-1995-FM and the contract will be
closed.
