DEPARTMENT: Purchasing BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to award to Maruti Fleet and Management, LLC for the provision of fixed-route and paratransit services. (District: All) BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On February 3, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners authorized a request for proposals for the provision of fixed-route and paratransit services. Five proposals were received and were ranked by a review committee consisting of County staff and representatives from the cities of Destin, Crestview, and Fort Walton Beach. Based on the rankings by the review committee, Purchasing is recommending that the County award the contract to Maruti Fleet and Management, LLC of Jacksonville, Florida. The contract will be brought back before the Board for approval. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the award to Maruti Fleet and Management, LLC for fixed-route and paratransit services. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval to award to Maruti Fleet and Management, LLC for fixed-route and paratransit services. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
