BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 2, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to Amend contract for Transit Trapeze Software DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The contract with Transit's paratransit software provider, Trapeze, must be amended to include updated programming for trip scheduling (Trip Import and the related training) and exclude features no longer necessary. BACKGROUND: The annual renewal of the Trapeze software contract includes adding Trip Import and the related software training and excluding two software packages that are no longer being utilized by the Transit system. These changes require executing a contract amendment for licensing and maintenance. No local funds are required to purchase additional software licensing and maintenance. OPTIONS: Approve or not approve the Trapeze Contract Amendments for Transit's paratransit software. RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends approving the Trapeze Contract Amendments. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
