BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: October 20, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to amend TD Grant Service Rates DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Growth Management Department requests that the Board approve the amendment to the Transportation Disadvantaged (TD) Grant service rates effective beginning November 1st, 2015. BACKGROUND: The County was awarded a TD Trip & Equipment Grant from the Commission for the Transportation Disadvantaged effective July 1st, 2015. As a result of the Local Coordinating Board's (LCB) approval of the Rate Calculation Model for FY15/16, new service rates will apply. The new rates for ambulatory, wheelchair and stretcher service will be effective beginning November 1st, 2015. The amendment is presented on the form provided by the Commission for Transportation Disadvantaged. OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove the amendment to the TD T&E Grant new service rates for Paratransit service. RECOMMENDATIONS: The Department recommends approval of the Amendment to the TD Grant Service rates effective November 1st, 2015. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
