(C14-2122-BCC). BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On November 13, 2013, the County entered into an agreement with The Advocacy Group. The contract is to provide lobbying services to represent the County before the Florida Legislature and the Executive Branch of the state government. This contract will expire on September 30, 2015; however, the contract has an option for an additional one (1) year renewal. Staff and The Advocacy Group desire to exercise the renewal option extending the contract to September 30, 2016. This is the final renewal on this contract. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the renewal with The Advocacy Group and authorize the Chairman to sign the contract/lease renewal form. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the renewal with The Advocacy Group and authorization for the Chairman to sign the contract/lease renewal form. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
