BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: February 2, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Zan Fedorak SUBJECT: Request approval of amendment five to Horizons landscape maintenance contract DEPARTMENT: Purchasing BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of amendment five of the Horizons landscape maintenance contract. BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Horizons has a current contract to provide landscape maintenance for the County, specifically the Water & Sewer Department. However, this contract will expire on January 31, 2016. Amendment five of the contract is an extension which will allow staff time to complete the contract which is a result of a recent procurement process. All other provisions of the contract and subsequent amendments shall remain in full force and effect. Staff is requesting Board approval of contract amendment five to extend the expiration date of the contract to April 30, 2016. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny amendment five of the Horizons landscape maintenance contract to extend the expiration date to April 30, 2016. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of amendment five of the Horizons landscape maintenance contract to extend the expiration date to April 30, 2016. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
