STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request Board approval to award the quote to Kingline Equipment
to purchase a new Agriculture Type Cab Tractor for $60,840. (ITQ RD 82-15)
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On July 7, 2015 the Board approved for Public Works-Roads
Division to solicit quotes in lieu of bids for the purchase of a new Agriculture Type Cab Tractor.
A request for quotes was advertised on Florida Purchasing Group (BidNet) and the Purchasing
website, however, only one (1) quote was received. Kingline Equipment was the sole quote and
was determined to be responsive and reasonable for purchase of the new agriculture type cab
tractor. Staff requests Board approval to award the quote to Kingline Equipment to purchase a
new Agriculture Type Cab Tractor for $60,840. This purchase has been approved by Fleet and
Public Works-Road Division staff. A requisition will be processed when/if the Board approves
the award of the quote. Funding is available for the purchase.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny to award the quote to Kingline Equipment to purchase a new
Agriculture Type Cab Tractor for $60,840.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval to award the quote to Kingline Equipment
