BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: September 1, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Zan Fedorak SUBJECT: Request approval of the Selection Committee for the Underwriters DEPARTMENT: Purchasing BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request Board approval of the selection committee for the Underwriters Request for Qualifications (RFQ). BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: Staff has prepared and issued a RFQ for Underwriter services; however, a Selection Committee was not established prior to issuing the RFQ. Staff suggests Mark Galvin act as the subject matter expert and the members of the selection committee are recommended as Gary Stanford, Kay Godwin, and Jeff Littrell. The results of the RFQ review will be brought back before the Board for authorization to negotiate a contract with the most qualified vendor. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the establishment of the selection committee as recommended by staff for review of the RFQ submittals for Underwriter Services. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the establishment of the selection committee as recommended by staff for review of the RFQ submittals for Underwriter Services.
