BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: First Southwest Company provides financial advisory services to the County. These services include evaluation of the financial condition, policies and plans of the County and to assist staff in the development of a long term financial plan. This contract will expire on September 30, 2015. Staff and First Southwest have expressed a desire to renew the contract. Staff requests Board approval of the contract renewal and authorize the Chairman to sign the renewal form. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the contract renewal with First Southwest Company to provide financial advisory services and authorization for the Chairman to sign the renewal form. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the contract renewal with First Southwest Company to provide financial advisory services and authorization for the Chairman to sign the renewal form. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
