BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 21, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Zan Fedorak SUBJECT: Request approval to add the 911 EOC emergency generator to the fuel contract DEPARTMENT: Purchasing BCC DISTRICT: ALL STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Second Amendment to the Mansfield Oil Company contract to add the 911 Emergency Operations Center emergency generator as an approved location to be fueled. (C15-2247-FLT) (District: ALL) BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On December 5, 2014 the Board approved a contract with Mansfiled Oil Company to provide gasoline and diesel for various locations throughout the County. Public Safety has requested that the contract be amended to include the ability to fuel the emergency generator at the 911 Emergency Operations Center (EOC) on the Northwest Florida State College Campus. The Second Amendment to the contract has been prepared and will add the 911 EOC to the contract as an authorized location to be fueled. Staff requests Board approval for the Chairman to sign the document. OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the Second Amendment to the Mansfield Oil Company contract to include the 911 EOC on the Northwest Florida State College Campus as an authorized location to be fueled. RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the Second Amendment to the Mansfield Oil Company contract to include the 911 EOC on the Northwest Florida State College Campus as an authorized location to be fueled.
