RESOLUTION 2015-____
A RESOLUTION OF THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA,
CONFIRMING ITS INTENT TO MAINTAIN THE
CURRENT STATUS OF THE WATER AND SEWER
ADMINISTRATION BUILDING AS TO THE HANDLING,
COLLECTION AND PAYMENT OF RENTS, AND
RESPONSIBILITY FOR MAINTENANCE AND THE
OPERATIONS OF THE BUILDING; PROVIDING AN
EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Board had previously adopted Resolution No. 15-99 which had
authorized the issuance from time to time of water and sewer revenue bonds (“Bonds”) secured
by net revenues of the County’s water and sewer system (the “System”); and
WHEREAS, on May 5th, 2015, the Board of County Commissioners of Okaloosa
County, Florida (the “County”) adopted Resolution No. 15-106 to provide that the existing
“County Water and Sewer Building” shall not be considered part of the System for the purposes
of the Resolution No. 15-99; and
WHEREAS, the Board, in the approval of Resolution No. 15-106, expressed its intent
that the current status of the Water and Sewer Administration Building shall not be changed as to
the handling, collection and payment of rents and the responsibility for maintenance and the
operations of the Building; and
WHEREAS, this Resolution shall memorializes that intent of the Board.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY
COMMISSIONERS OF OKALOOSA COUNTY, FLORIDA as follows:
SECTION 1. That it is the intent of the Board, that the current status of the Water and
Sewer Administration Building shall not be changed as to the handling, collection and payment
of rents and the responsibility for maintenance and the operations of the Building.
SECTION 2. Such status and treatment of the Water and Sewer Administration Building
shall continue until further action of the Board.
SECTION 3. This Resolution shall take effect upon adoption.
