STATEMENT OF ISSUE: On May 5th, 2015, the Board approved Resolution No. 15-106
which amended Resolution No 15-99 to exclude the Water and Sewer Administration Building
from the definition of “System” for the purpose of certain water and sewer revenue bonds. At
that time, the Board voted to maintain the current status and treatment of the Water and Sewer
Administration Building as to the handling, collection and payment of rents and the
responsibility for maintenance and the operations of the Building. This was to be maintained
until such time as changed by the Board. This proposed Resolution would memorialize that
action by the Board.
BACKGROUND AND ANALYSIS: On April 21, 2015, the Board approved Resolution No.
15-99 for the issuance of water and sewer revenue bonds which would be secured by the net
revenues of the system. At its May 5th meeting, the Board approved Resolution 15-106 which
excluded the Water and Sewer Administration Building from the definition of “System”. At that
same meeting, the Board voted to maintain the existing status of the Water and Sewer
Administration Building handling, collection and payment of rents and the responsibility for
maintenance and the operations of the Building. That status and treatment shall be maintained
until further action by the Board. A Resolution is required to memorialize this action of the
Board.
OPTIONS: Approve/Disapprove.
RECOMMENDATION: Approve the Resolution maintaining the existing status of the Water
and Sewer Administration Building as to the handling, collection and payment of rents and the
responsibility for maintenance and the operations of the Building until further action by the
Board.
