BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 21, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Tracy Stage SUBJECT: Assignment of Lease from Ray and Shelley Netherwood to Wade & Rae, LLC DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Airports Department requests approval by the Board of County Commissioners of a proposed Assignment of Lease for hangar space from Ray and Shelley Netherwood to Wade & Rae, LLC, Ms. Cheryl Bradford for Block 8 Lot 1 at the Destin Executive Airport (DTS). BACKGROUND: Ray and Shelley Netherwood previously entered into a Hangar Lease Agreement for Block 8 Lot 1 at the Destin Executive Airport (DTS) and now requests to assign the Hangar Lease to Wade & Rae, LLC, Ms. Cheryl Bradford. Mr. & Mrs. Netherwood are in full compliance with all lease requirements. The hangar lease approval fee has been received and Ms. Bradford's certificate of insurance is attached along with the contract and lease internal coordination sheet. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve this Hangar Lease Assignment of Lease as described above. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
