BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
AGENDA REQUEST
DATE: September 15, 2015
TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board
FROM: Elliot Kampert
SUBJECT: Request approval to revise Task Order #52 to OCT
DEPARTMENT: Growth Management
BCC DISTRICT: All
STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Staff seeks Board approval of revised Task Order #52 to OCT in
the amount of $300,000. These funds will allow the County to draw down directly the FTA
funds for maintenance cost incurred by the County Fleet department
BACKGROUND: Task Order #52 allocated FTA operating funds ($700,000), preventative
maintenance funds ($300,000), and a fuel provision ($30,790) to OCT. At the April 21st
meeting, the BoCC approved an amendment to OCT's contract which allows the County to
directly draw down the grant funds for maintenance of County-owned and maintained vehicles
operated by OCT. This task order revision reallocates the preventative maintenance funds of
$300,000 to the County which would allow the County to directly drawn down FTA funds for
maintenance.
No local funds are required for this request
OPTIONS: Approve or disapprove Revision 1 to Task Order #52 reallocating the total
preventative maintenance funds from OCT to the County in the amount of $300,000
RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that the Board authorize the Chairman to sign the
attached Task Order #52 Revision #1 reallocating preventative maintenance funds of $300,000
from OCT.
