BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: March 3, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: David Skarzynski, Budget Manager SUBJECT: Budget Resolutions & Transfers STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of the Budget Resolutions & Transfers. Resolution amending the Fiscal Year 2015 Budget, Tourist Development Fund, which did not reflect adequate appropriations from Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) for artificial Reef Construction Project 2014-2015 - construct two patch reefs made of concrete culverts and used and unused concrete or concrete and steel military pre-cast target materials to be placed in Fish Havens 13 and 14 grant, in the amount of $140,000. BT-15-21, Tourist Development Fund in the amount of $100,000. Provide local match for Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FFWCC) for artificial Reef Construction Project 2014- 2015 - construct two patch reefs made of concrete culverts and used and unused concrete or concrete and steel military pre-cast target materials to be placed in Fish Havens 13 and 14 grant. BT-15-22, Prisoner Benefit Fund in the amount of $71,136. In August 2014 the Board approved a contract amendment with Corizon to add 1 FTE (Clinical Social Worker) to be funded from Prisoner Benefit (because it goes beyond the basic requirements for inmate health care), contract #C13-2058- COR Amend 2. RECOMMENDATION: Staff requests Board approval of attached Budget Resolutions & Transfers.
