The Okaloosa County School District supports the Charter School Contract Modification. Meeting : Feb 10, 2022 - Workshop Meeting Type : Action (Consent) Fiscal Impact : No Budgeted : No Recommended Action : Motion to approve the Amended Contract Agreement between the School Board of Okaloosa County and Northwest Florida State College for the 2022-2023 School Year, acknowledging that the existing  Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College meets the requirements for establishing a Collegiate High School Program for the Northwest Florida State College service area as outlined in section 1007.273, Florida Statutes. Public Content This amended contract agreement between the School Board of Okaloosa County and Northwest Florida State College (NWFSC) acknowledges the existing Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College, a Charter Collegiate High School, as a Collegiate High School Program for the NWFSC service area as outlined in §1007.79, Florida Statutes. This contract was previously approved by the School Board on January 25, 2021. The Amendment reflects the addition of 9th grade as requested in the Charter School Contract Modification, pending before the School Board. The Collegiate High School at Northwest Florida State College meets or exceeds the minimum requirements of a Collegiate High School Program as defined in §1007.273, Florida Statutes.
