BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: February 7, 2017 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Tracy Stage SUBJECT: Delta Southern, LLC Hangar Lease Agreement DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Airports Department requests approval by the Board of County Commissioners of Delta Southern, LLC hangar lease for Block 3 Lot's 3, 4 and 5 at the Destin Executive Airport. BACKGROUND: Delta Southern, Mr. Charles Schindler, requests to lease space and construct a hangar at the Destin Executive Airport. Mr. Schindler would like to lease Block 3 Lots 3, 4 and 5. Currently this is a shade hangar and Mr. Schindler will build a new hangar at this location with construction to begin no later than January 1, 2018 and complete construction by July 1, 2020. Delta Southern's certificate of insurance is attached along with the contract and lease internal coordination sheet. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table. RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve Delta Southern, LLC hangar lease agreement as stated above. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
