Elder Services would be well served with less sophisticated equipment than what the County requires, but which meets the security criteria established by the County Information Systems. We have been quoted $6.000 for each new computer by our vendor. Two computers at this price would cost over 2,500 meals for the frail, at-risk, homebound elderly. That is not a choice we can make. Please consider the circumstances and Elder Services of Okaloosa County’s reason for seeking the County’s favorable consideration of the request. Sincerely, Ruth R.
