Public Content Approval is requested of the GMP Modification for Program #6, Task Order #16, Roofing and Canopy Projects at Choctawhatchee High School and Lewis K-8 School (Phase 2). Choctawhatchee High School Front Entry - This project consists of the removal of the existing planters and landscaping near the front entry of the campus. A new addition will be constructed in the area of the current planters that has a 2-story component and high ceilings throughout the remaining area. This new addition will provide a larger public lobby with seating areas and display cases for memorabilia. A new painted metal canopy will adorn the elevation of the addition that faces Racetrack Road. Reconfiguration of the existing fencing and repair to adjacent stucco will be included with this scope of work. Lewis K-8 School Front Entry Project - This project consists of the removal of the existing sidewalk and landscaping at the front entrance to the school, and replacement with a new, extended length brick column canopy structure with a standing seam metal roof. New sidewalk and curb will also be provided at this
