STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval of Amendment No. 3 to B&C Fire Safety, Inc.
contract (C15-2258-FM).
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On January 8, 2015, the Board approved the contract with
B&C Fire Safety, Inc. for repair, inspection and service of fire extinguishers, fire alarms, fire
pump and sprinkler systems for County facilities throughout the County. Staff has determined
additional buildings/locations need to be added to the contract; Courthouse Annex, 1940 Lewis
Turner Blvd., Fort Walton Beach, and Purchasing, 5479A Old Bethel Road, Crestview. The
required modifications to the contract are documented in Amendment No. 3. This amendment
also includes the revised public records language and serves as the renewal of the contract. Staff
requests Board approval of Amendment No. 3 to contract C15-2258-FM and asks that the
Chairman be authorized to sign the document.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny Amendment No. 3 to the B&C Fire Safety, Inc. contract (C15-2258-
FM) and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the document.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of Amendment No. 3 to the B&C Fire
Safety, Inc. contract (C15-2258-FM) and that the Chairman be authorized to sign the document.
