Re: Mid County Tank No. 4
Dear Ms. Fedorak:
Bids were received on June 1, 2016 for the above referenced project. Three bids were
received for this work and a tabulation of the bids is attached for your review.
The lowest bid was received from Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, Inc. of Avon,
Indiana in the amount of $1,234,173.00 and they submitted the appropriate references and
design sketch as required in the bid documents.
This contractor will obtain an Okaloosa County Occupational License prior to the Notice
of Award. The contractor is licensed as a general contractor with the State of Florida as required
and has performed previous work for Okaloosa County, which was completed in exemplary
fashion.
My recommendation is to award the project to Phoenix Fabricators and Erectors, Inc. in
the amount of $1,234,173.00, they having submitted the lowest responsive, responsible bid for
the work and have the award of the contract on the Board of County Commissioners agenda for
their next meeting, June 21, 2016.
If you have any questions, please let me hear from you.
Sincerely,
POLYENGINEER N<15 IN
