BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: May 19, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Jenner Subdivision - Final Plat Approval DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: 4 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: To review the final plat for Jenner Subdivision, a re-subdivision of a portion of Lot 1, Block 3, Fairview Heights as recorded in PB 2, PG 127 of the public records of Okaloosa County, Florida. The re-division is necessary to construct a proposed 2 lot single family attached (townhome) residential subdivision as submitted by Mark Siner with Choctaw Engineering, Inc. on behalf of the property owner, Jimmy Henderson II Construction. The property is currently zoned Suburban Residential (SR) with a Future Land Use Map (FLUM) designation of Suburban Residential (SR). The general location of the property is the northwest corner of Carmel and Fairview Drives and contains 0.27 acres more or less. BACKGROUND: Development Order (DO) for Jenner Subdivision was issued on April 28, 2015. The proposed 2 lot single family attached (townhome) residential subdivision is consistent with the Okaloosa County Comprehensive Plan and Land Development Code. Staff has no objection to the approval of the final plat as submitted. All approvals are on file. OPTIONS: The Board may approve the final plat for recording, or may withhold approval.
