Alison,
After speaking about the Longwood Park project yesterday, I hope my email can clarify any questions
that may persist. As the project stands currently, the exemption verification you received expired on May
15, 2015. However, as the activity was deemed exempt the work can still be performed provided: the
project design hasn’t changed, site conditions haven’t changed, and the governing rules or statutes have
not changed (they haven’t). Additionally, your federal authorization extends until July 25, 2016 as
permitted. I’ve attached a copy of your original permit letter with highlighted portions concerning
timeframe, etc. Additionally, I’ve attached copies of 62-330, F.A.C. and 403.813, F.S. should there
questions about the exempt nature of the project. Lastly, here is a link to a search portal of Florida Rules
and Statutes: https://www.flrules.org/. It may prove useful to reference Florida Statute 253 or 373 or
Florida Administrative Code Chapter 18-21, as referenced in the permit letter. Let me know if you have
any questions. Take care.
