BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: May 5, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Sunil Harman SUBJECT: Hangar Assignment of Lease from Destin Landings to QR Air DEPARTMENT: Airport BCC DISTRICT: 5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Department of Airports requests approval by the Board of County Commissioners for a proposed Assignment of Hangar Lease from Destin Landings, Mr. Mike Mosing to QR Air, LLC, Mr. Quin Ducharme and Mr. Rodger Bagwell, Block 7 Lot 4, at the Destin Executive Airport (DTS), Dist: 5. BACKGROUND: Destin Landings, Mr. Mosing, contacted the County's Department of Airports requesting approval to assign his existing hangar lease to QR Air, Mr. Ducharme and Mr. Bagwell. Mr. Mosing is in full compliance with all current lease requirements. The hangar lease transfer fee has been received. QR Air's certificates of insurance are attached along with the contract and lease internal coordination sheet. OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table RECOMMENDATIONS: Its the Department of Airports' recommendation that the Board approve the requested Assignment of Hangar Lease. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
