Public Content The Okaloosa County School District and the Okaloosa Education Staff Professionals Association reached a tentative contract agreement on June 19, 2024, for the upcoming 2024-2025 school year, subject to School Board approval and Association membership ratification. The tentative agreement affects only portions of the collective bargaining agreement and salaries. The proposed Education Staff Professionals salary schedule for fiscal year 2024-2025 is as follows: Each employee receives a Step increase, add a new top Step Increase all Steps by 0.25% ESP Subbing in Classrooms - Current rate of $7.75 will change to: $8.00 per hour basic rate $8.50 per hour if subbing 20 or more consecutive days, retroactively $9.50 per hour if subbing 60 or more consecutive days, retroactively ESE Supplements - Added a category for self-contained VE, CBS, & Pre-K D to be paid $1.50 per hour in lieu of $1.13 No change to all other Supplements and Stipends Transportation employees will receive $15 per day on any day in which an employee is assigned additional routes or partial routes during the normal work day Salary changes are effective as of July 1, 2024.
