BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: October 20, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Public Event Permit - Fall Festival Skillet Toss DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: 3 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Main Street Crestview Association is requesting a Public Event Permit to hold the Fall Festival Skillet Toss at the Okaloosa County Courthouse in Crestview on the south lawn near Main Street. BACKGROUND: This event is to be part of the Main Street Fall Festival and will be held Saturday October 31, 2015 from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. This request has been reviewed by the Emergency Services. OPTIONS: Approve / Disapprove RECOMMENDATIONS: Request Board approval for a Public Event Permit for the Fall Festival Skillet Toss event as submitted by Main Street Crestview Association contingent upon receipt of the required insurance certificate and Sheriff's Department approval. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
