However, | am not sure you need a coordination sheet at this point as it appears we will need to provide a coordination sheet for each lease when they do come to the Board with the change. It seems to me that at that point we would execute the coordination sheet related to the implementation of the Boards direction From: Sunil Harman Sent: Monday, February 02, 2015 7:13 PM To: Greg Stewart Cc: Dave Miner; Sunil Harman; Joanne Kublik Subject: Re: Hanger Leases Good evening Greg, To date we have 11 leases in Destin and one lease at Bob Sikes airpart, that have the 10 foot applied to them as a result of either a lease renewal or assignment or some other activity that resulted in the least being renegotiated such as a sale. As the board appears to have not approve this for the single leases, we have prepared the item to take all of them back to the board for a one time adjustment back to the hanger footprint. If approved, this would result in first correcting what should not have been implemented and second preventing future leases which are either sold, assigned or that come up for renewal from being modified with the 10 foot setback. We have also proposed, to be fair that each of these lease amendments be provided a two-year extension in their lease term for having paid for the setback. This we believe will rectify a prior misunderstanding of the board's intent and furthermore ensure that the periodic appraisal is based on the hanger footprint with additional consideration of the additional areas that each leaseholder is actually using. You have numerous leases that have the 10 foot setback included in the lease area. Is it you intent to take all of them back to the Board or are you intending to change this as they come up for renewal. Also, since we do not have specific leases to approve as part of the coordination, do you want my legal approval to eliminate the 10 feet from the lease area, generally? It appears from the material that the concept of eliminating the 10 feet from the lease area has been referred to in the past during Commission meetings but that no action was ever taken. Is it your intent to take the concept to the Board and get approval and then propose an implementation plan? y . > Gregory T. On page 24, four paragraphs down in the motion that was made the ten foot requirement deletion was not made. The minutes for the December 4, 2007 meeting is attached. The only document that we have from Mr. Dowd deleting the 10 foot requirement is an e-mail dated June 12, 2013 which is attached for your review. >> >> If you need any additional information let us know. >> >> David Miner >> Airports Administration >> >> >> >> >> >> From: Greg Stewart >> Sent: Tuesday, January 27, 2015-4:59 PM >>To: Dave Miner; Sunil Harman >> Cc: Joanne Kublik >> Subject: Hanger Leases >> >> >> | have been reviewing the proposed modification of the hanger lease to eliminate the 10 foot setback area from the lease.
