SUBJECT: ERMC Contract Final Payment

STATEMENT OF ISSUE: A proposed final payment in the amount of $14,774.00 for the
ERMC IV, LP contract at the Northwest Florida Regional Airport (VPS), is being presented to
the Board of County Commissioners for approval.
BACKGROUND: On May 20, 2008 the Board approved the ERMC IV, LP contract for
preventive maintenance and repairs to the passenger loading bridges, ground power units,
preconditioned air units, potable water, cabinets, ticket counter conveyor, baggage make up
units, walkways, stairs, and security doors. ERMC IV, LP has been notified that the contract
will be terminated on its expiration date of September 30, 2014, and that the County is going out
for competitive bidding for these services in conjunction with a contract for aircraft maintenance
services. The final payment for quarterly preventive maintenance inspections for the passenger
loading bridges for quarters ending in May and August is attached.
The invoice for the quarterly period from February to May was incorrect and required revisions
by ERMC IV, LP. The Finance Department has requested that both the invoices be paid at the
same time as the contract's final payment.
OPTIONS: Approve, Reject or Table.
RECOMMENDATIONS: It is Staff's recommendation that the Board approve this final
payment as described above.
