BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 16, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to grant FDOT NTD View Access DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) and the Center for Transportation Research (CUTR) have requested viewer access for Okaloosa County's Transit's National Transit Database (NTD) reports. BACKGROUND: The FDOT uses data from the NTD for several purposes including the allocation of state Block Grant funds and tracking statewide performance measures. To facilitate this, FDOT, as it has in the past, is requesting viewer access to Okaloosa County NTD reports in the NTD 2.0 database. OPTIONS: Approve or not approve NTD viewer access for FDOT and CUTR for Okaloosa County National Transit Database data. RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve FDOT and CUTR viewer access for Okaloosa County NTD reports and authorize Chairman to sign approval letter for transmittal to the Federal Transit Administration. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
