BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: June 16, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request disposition of Transit Assets (Bus Cameras) DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Transit buses that had met their useful life requirements were approved for disposition in December 2014. Cameras installed on the buses were disposed of at the same time and need to be removed as current Transit Assets. BACKGROUND: Transit bus cameras are purchased and installed before delivery of new buses. In December, several buses that were past their useful life were approved for disposition and the cameras that were installed on the buses were disposed with the buses. Therefore, digital cameras (s/n 976010170 and 976010163) need to be removed from Transit's Asset list. OPTIONS: Approve or not approve the removal of the cameras from the Transit Asset list. RECOMMENDATIONS: Approve removal of the cameras (s/n 976010170 and 976010163) from Transit's asset list. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
