BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: March 3, 2015 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jason Autrey SUBJECT: Public Event Permit - Bluewater Fitness Run DEPARTMENT: Public Works BCC DISTRICT: Five STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Bluewater Fitness & Wellness Center is requesting a Public Event Permit to raise funds for Sharing & Caring of Niceville - Valparaiso - Choctaw Beach. BACKGROUND: The event will be held April 18, 2015 from 7:30 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The course will run along White Point Road from the fitness center to the dead end circle at the Mid Bay Bridge Offices. The Okaloosa County Sheriff's Posse will be on hand to take care of traffic control needs. OPTIONS: Approve / Disapprove RECOMMENDATIONS: Request Board approval for a Public Event Permit for the Bluewater Fitness Run as submitted by Bluewater Fitness & Wellness Center. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
