Program Summary and Purpose: Provide an overview of program services, including target population and how many will be served while completing the following statement. We are taking the youth of today and helping them to become better citizens and leaders for tomorrow. We work to have them live by the Scout Oath and Law which will allow them to be the leaders and citizens that we want in the future. 2. Proposed use of LETF proceeds: Please identify the proposed use(s) of LETF proceeds and specify how it fulfills the statutorily authorized uses set forth in Section 932.7055, Florida Statutes. All supporting documentation necessary to establish such shall be attached to this Application. We will use the funds as a sponsorship of one of our Merit Badges. (I have attached a sheet with the Merit Badge Sponsorship details.) It will go into the overall operating budget for the council so we will be able to provide the programs for the scouts of today, so we can make the leaders for tomorrow. Through the lessons of the Scout Oath and Law we will teach today’s youth and make them into the leaders of tomorrow. This will help with Crime Prevention, Drug Abuse Prevention and Education, and Safe Neighborhoods by teaching good morals and way to live by that will not only benefit themselves, but the people live with, live by, and work with. 3. The Gulf Coast Council Boy Scouts of America has received funding which I believe was from LETF from Escambia County Sheriff & Bay County Sheriff. 4.
