Public Content Section 121.091 of the Florida Statutes allows eligible individuals to extend participation in DROP beyond 60 months. This action is intended to promote school and classroom continuity for students, permitting individuals who are employed in an instructional or administrative position and scheduled to terminate original DROP participation during the school year, to extend participation in DROP through the end of the school year in which the termination occurs. These employees should complete, sign and submit the Request for DROP Employment form and the FRS DP- EXT Form.
