Approval is requested of the GMP for Program #6, Task Order #20 - 2022-2023 Priority Roofing Projects (Phase 1), Longwood
Elementary School Roofing/Replacement Project.
Longwood Elementary School - This project consists of the removal and replacement of the existing coated foam roof system that
covers the entire main building and canopies. This foam system was installed over the original built-up roof system so both the existing
roofs must be removed. This main building tear-off area is approximately 620 squares. We will be performing roof restoration (coating)
at the existing metal awning at the bus ramp, over the two (2) classroom additions located near the bus ramp that has an EPDM roof and
over the concrete canopy walkways. The restoration work totals approximately 30 squares. New edge metal and gutters and
downspouts are included.
The Total Cost of Work for Task Order #20 (Phase 1) is recapped below:

Approval to accept the Prime Contract Change Order for Program #6, Task Order #12, District-Wide Sales Tax Construction Projects.
Credit to the GMP for de-obligation of funds as a result of better than market pricing received for the projects. Task Order #12 GMP
included an up to $10,000,000 threshold that was not subject to the Cost Reduction Incentive Clause in the contract. Jacob/Titan has
agreed to exceed that limit and return $15,000,000 to the district, with no shared savings, instead of $10,000,000.
