BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: August 16, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Ed Schroeder SUBJECT: Romjue Advertising TO 19 DEPARTMENT: Tourist Development Department BCC DISTRICT: 2,4,5 STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval for Chairman to sign Task Order 19 titled TDD Media Plan Budget for Q1 2017, contract C12-2006-AP Romjue Advertising. BACKGROUND: On August 2, the Board approved a contract amendment authorizing Romjue Advertising to place media for the Tourist Development Department in an amount not to exceed $50,000. Task Order 19 authorizes placement of media during October - December 2016 that mirrors what was vetted by the Peter Mayer Agency and approved by the County for the same time period last year. It is understood and accepted that modifications may be required based on editorial calendars and publication deadlines. The net media cost is budgeted at $318,109.18, with the task order total not to exceed $368,109.18 including 15% commission up to $50,000. OPTIONS: Approve or Disapprove RECOMMENDATION: Approve Task Order 19 titled TDD Media Plan Budget for Q1 2017, contract C12-2006-AP Romjue Advertising, and authorize the Chairman to sign.
