BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: September 20, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Amendment 12 NSP Agreement C10-1798-GM Public Records DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: ALL STATEMENT OF ISSUE: In order to include language recently amended by the Florida Legislature in the 2016 Laws of Florida pertaining to public records it is necessary to amend Agreement C10-1798-GM. BACKGROUND: On July 31, 2008, the County and Okaloosa Community Development Corporation (OCDC) entered into Agreement, C10-1798-GM, which allows for OCDC to purchase, manage, and build residential homes for low income households in accordance with grant funding under the Neighborhood Stabilization Program (NSP 1). RECOMMENDATIONS: Staff recommends that the Board of County Commissioners approve and authorize the Chairman to sign Amendment 12 to Agreement C10-1798-GM.
