BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: January 19, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Elliot Kampert SUBJECT: Request to process Access2Care Vendor Application DEPARTMENT: Growth Management BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Growth Management is requesting approval of the Access2Care Vendor Application to provide transit services to Access2Care clients for reimbursement at the current rates listed on the attached A2C Rate schedule. BACKGROUND: Okaloosa County's transit operator, Maruti Fleet & Management, currently provides public transportation services to Access2Care clients. Approval of the Vendor application will allow the County to bill Access2Care as a Vendor for providing those trips. The reimbursement rates are in the attached rates schedule. OPTIONS: Approve or disprove the request to become an Access2Care Vendor to provide transit trips and bill trips provided for Access2Care at the rates in the attached rate schedule. RECOMMENDATIONS: The Department recommends approval of the Access2Care Vendor application to provide transit services for reimbursement per trip. RECOMMENDED BY: APPROVED BY: John Hofstad, County Administrator
