STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to award the bids to World Fiber Technologies,
Inc. and Creek Enterprises, Inc. for telecommunications maintenance for the fiber optic network.

BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On October 28, 2015 three (3) bids were received for the
telecommunications maintenance of the fiber optic network. The responses have been reviewed
by Information Systems staff and have been found to be responsive. The request for bid stated
that the County could elect to award to more than one vendor. Based on the prices and the
services offered staff requests to award the bids to World Fiber Technologies, Inc. and Creek
Enterprises, Inc. This is a unit price bid so an overall total bid is not calculated. The proposed
contract will be brought back before the Board for approval.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny to award the bids to World Fiber Technologies, Inc. and Creek
Enterprises, Inc. for telecommunications maintenance for the fiber optic network. (RFB IS 90-
