STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Request approval to award the bid to Boundtree Medical, LLC for
the Emergency Medical Services supplies and inventory management software.
BACKGROUND & ANALYSIS: On December 2, 2015 bids were received for Emergency
Medical Services (EMS) supplies and inventory management software. Three (3) bids were
received and reviewed by EMS staff. Boundtree Medical, LLC was recommended as the most
responsive bid. These services will include a computerized/digital inventory system solution to
centrally manage and report on the movement of medical supplies. This will allow a mechanism
to effectively track and order supplies. The supplies will be purchased based on unit prices
included in the proposed contract therefore there is no overall bid amount. Upon approval of the
award of the bid, staff will move forward with creation of the contract. The proposed contract
will be brought back before the Board for approval.
OPTIONS: Approve/Deny the award to Boundtree Medical, LLC for the EMS supplies and
inventory management software.
RECOMMENDATION: Staff recommends approval of the award to Boundtree Medical, LLC
for the EMS supplies and inventory management software.
