PUBLIC COMMENTS REGARDING THE CURRENT AGENDA
Mrs. Phyllis Enzor, 1436 The Crossings in Niceville, referred to
the public hearing on the agenda for a requested Future Land Use
Map change for T-A-R, LLC. She stated that she owns property
adjoining the subject property and has questions on whether or
not the property will remain residential. Mr. Windes replied
that is the first public hearing and those issues will be
discussed.
Mr. Harold LaFountain, Young Road in Crestview, referenced the
second public hearing regarding a change in the Land Development
Code relative to beekeeping. He said when he purchased his
property in 1987, honey bees were everywhere. However, he said
that his vegetables no longer do well because there are no bees
to pollinate plants. Mr. LaFountain equated the loss of bees to
spraying for mosquitos.
