BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS AGENDA REQUEST DATE: May 3, 2016 TO: Honorable Chairman and Members of the Board FROM: Jeff Littrell SUBJECT: Contract Renewal, C14-2073-WS, Electric Motor Repair DEPARTMENT: Water and Sewer BCC DISTRICT: All STATEMENT OF ISSUE: Okaloosa County Water & Sewer (OCWS) staff requests Board of County Commission (BCC) approval of contract renewal with Electric Motor Repair for repair/rewind of electric motors, pumps and appurtenances. This is the first renewal of three for contract C14-2073-WS. BACKGROUND: OCWS utilizes the services of Electric Motor Repair for the rewind/rebuild of existing motors, pumps and appurtenances. OCWS entered into contract (C14-2073-WS) on 10/1/2013. The OCWS department has completed the "Contract/Lease Renewal Form" and the "Contract/Lease Internal Coordination Sheet" has been completed. Due to the annual value of the contract (approximately $96,000.00), we are requesting Board authorization for the first of three annual renewals. OPTIONS: Approve or Deny RECOMMENDATIONS: OCWS Staff recommends BCC approval of a Contract Renewal (C14-2073-WS) with Electric Motor Repair for the repair of electric motors, pumps and appurtenances.
